The Montecito real estate statistics for April show a huge difference from the same time last year. The number of homes sold in Montecito was up +66.7% over April last year. The dollar volume of Montecito homes sold was up +345.3% - that is NOT a typo!
The predominant reason for the dollar volume increase in Montecito homes sold is due to the high end activity Montectio enjoyed in April. 4 Montecito Estate properties priced at $10 million and above closed in April. A newer Mediterranean Estate in a gated enclave closed for $10.750 million, another Mediterranean in the guard gated community of Ennisbrook closed at $12.3million, and two large historic Montecito Estates closed at $14.8 million and $15 million.
Rounding out the high end Montecito home sales activity, there was also several other notable high end Montecito sales: at $7.9 million, $4.7 million, $4.066 million, which received multiple offers, a $3.96 million, and a $3.450 million which also received multiple offers.
